While Grant Show’s career has been the focus of much admiration, the actor’s personal life has also captured public interest. After his first marriage to actress Pollyanna McIntosh ended in 2011, he found love again with actress Katherine LaNasa.

Their love story began on the set of the TV series “Big Love” in 2010. At that time, LaNasa was grieving the recent loss of her former partner, Dennis Hopper. Despite feeling an initial attraction, he decided it was best to keep his distance given her circumstances.

But fate had other plans. Six months later, they crossed paths again in Vancouver, and this time, their connection deepened. They became friends first, and within about eight weeks of dating in Los Angeles, they were officially a couple.

After a year of dating, they were engaged for just a month before tying the knot in a rustic California ceremony on August 18, 2012. LaNasa, besides being an actress, is also a former ballet dancer and choreographer.

She had built a career in Hollywood, with roles in films like “Alfie” (2004), “Valentine’s Day” (2010), and “The Campaign” (2012). On television, she starred in the NBC sitcom “Three Sisters” (2001) and the drama series “Deception” (2012), where she played the glamorous socialite Sophia Bowers.

Their relationship quickly became a cornerstone of his life. The actor often speaks about LaNasa with deep affection. She once compared her to his doting maternal grandmother, Blanche, who played an important role in his upbringing.

Blanche had mothered him more than anyone else until he met LaNasa, a testament to the warmth and nurturing qualities that he values in his wife.

In 2013, nearly a year after their marriage, the couple was busy trying to start a family. The actor revealed that they were “working on it—practice, practice, practice.” He acknowledged that it was a bit challenging due to their age, but they were determined.

Unlike his sexually frustrated character Spence Westmore on “Devious Maids,” he humorously assured that they were having no trouble keeping their marriage hot, both in and out of the bedroom.

He described their relationship as one where they did everything together, from playing golf to shopping, and emphasized the importance of keeping the romance alive.

Their efforts to expand their family paid off when, in March 2014, they welcomed a baby girl named Eloise McCue Show. The couple expressed their joy, stating, “We are truly blessed to have such a healthy and beautiful baby girl.”
